Angband Borg

The Borg is an automatic Angband player. It plays Angband by "virtually" looking the display and pressing keys just as if it were a real person sitting in front of the computer. It can analyze the current situation of the game and tries to make intelligent decisions. There are various implementations of the Borg for different Angband versions and with slightly different capabilities.

Installation and Use

written by Ben Harrison

The Borg is distributed as a set of source files, which must be compiled and linked into the Angband executable by adding the Borg source files to the Makefile or Project file, and recompiling, with "ALLOW_BORG" defined.

There are several available "Borg commands", which are entered after the initial "^Z" keypress. A brief description of each command is given below for reference purposes, use the "?" borg-command when in doubt.
